Philip A. Butler provides experienced counsel to the firm’s clients in all aspects of sophisticated commercial real estate transactional and development matters. Philip brings a unique angle to the firm’s zoning and land use practice, having served as counsel to both Town and Village governments on Long Island and in the New York-Metro region. Philip’s background enables him to provide the firm’s clients with perspective from both inside and outside the development approval process.
Philip received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science in 2007 from Hofstra University, where he graduated from the Hofstra University Honors College, magna cum laude. Philip received a Juris Doctor degree in 2010 from St. John’s University School of Law, where he was an editor of the New York International Law Review.
