Investment banker picked for EPCAL ski mountain
Riverhead Resorts has hired Lebenthal & Company as its investment banker, according to an announcement from the Weber Law Group.
Weber Law partners Don Secunda and Mitch Pally, who represent the Calverton sports and entertainment project, said that Lebenthal will serve as structuring agent, placement agent and bond underwriter for the $2 billion, 755-acre multi-themed resort.
The expanding resorts team, which includes Scotland-based Baldragon Homes, Manhattan-based Bayrock Group, HOK Architecture, Cameron Engineering and LEDO International, is planning to build eight themed resorts with a convention center, family entertainment center, a hotel, and 1,100 time-share-type condominium units. The much ballyhooed 350-foot indoor ski mountain and an indoor water park will be among the featured attractions open all year long.
“This innovative project will play a central role in bolstering the economy of Long Island and, specifically, the Town of Riverhead,” said investment bank chief Alexandra Lebenthal. “We are proud to be part of this effort.”
