
Jason A. Stern is the firm’s director of litigation and has a substantial record of success litigating complex commercial and real estate-related matters in federal and state courts as well as various arbitration forums and administrative agency hearings. Jason has represented and advised corporations, boards, and individuals in a variety of industries and secured successful results in a wide range of cases, from Article 78 proceedings to acting as lead counsel in complex multi-party actions and other high profile matters, including multi-million dollar jury awards and appeals before the New York Court of Appeals.
Jason has authored articles on substantive legal issues published in the New York Law Journal and the National Law Journal and has been interviewed by other news publications and television programs. Jason’s court submissions have also been incorporated into various lawyer’s manuals, including Bender’s Forms of Pleading. Jason is actively involved in the Long Island community, serving as Dean of the Suffolk Academy of Law, a member of the Boards of the Wyandanch Plaza Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association, and former Chair of Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone’s Jewish Advisory Committee.
Jason received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1995 from the State University of New York at Albany, where he graduated with honors, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and was a recipient of a Presidential Scholarship, and received a Juris Doctor degree in 1998 from New York University School of Law, where he was an editor of the New York University Journal of Legislation and Public Policy and a recipient of the Hon. Francis J. Bloustein Scholarship.
